Kay has been doing a number of events the last few months. You may remember her tag-sale event “Kay Brings Teeccino Tee-bags to the Bronx!” back in June. More and more, Kay, a dedicated health coaching professional, has been asked by those she comes across to attend various events and share Teeccino there. She recently reported on a church event she did, and we truly appreciated what she had to say:
“On Saturday, August 16th, I visited a church in Albany, New York. I went up there to allow the community to taste/sample Teeccino, in addition to educating those who stopped by my table on the benefits of the brand for their health. Well, l was saddened by the turn-out because other churches in the community that were larger had events on this day as well, but I still push forward since I took the trip to get the message across to about 50 people or so, on the benefits of partnering or adding Teeccino to their diets/life. The majority loved coffee and provided me every way why they would not part with it; but the ability to have the airpots that allowed them to sample on the spot the Dark Roast Dandelion and Vanilla Nut was quite advantageous.”
Kay then told us…
“In addition, the fact that the pots kept the Teeccino flavors hot all day long was a positive too, I was actually amazed. All and all there is a lot of work that needs to be done in communities in regards to Teeccino’s introduction; I am up for the task when able. I was told by some they would try to add Teeccino to their routine this week and see how they would feel without the caffeine. Others straight up said it did not taste like coffee and they did not like it and I was OK with that, others have told me that they lived 70 years with coffee and was not going to stop now.”
We understand, Kay! It can be difficult to get anyone to consider a change from a long-time habit, especially one that is so socially accepted. Yet somehow on a daily basis more and more people ‘like’ Teeccino on Facebook and DO decide to ‘take a break’ from coffee. We appreciate all you do in your community, and especially how you wrapped up your report:
“I say, I had to start somewhere to bring awareness to the issues of caffeine and acidity. I may go back up there to do a talk at the church on the detriments of caffeine, acidity and sugar on a larger level vs. an outdoor event. As for now, the Teeccino message has a lot more minds to bring awareness too. Education is imperative to change the way people think about what they are inputting into their bodies and the effects.”
That sounds like a great plan, Kay…we appreciate your tenacity and knowledge of the effects of caffeine on one’s health. Keep up the great work, and let us know when you decide to do another Teeccino Ambassador event! We’ll be more than happy to support!
